Rule of thumb: use the sizing system shown on the product page you are buying from, and check it against Wacoal’s guide for that storefront.

What Wacoal says about fit

  • Measuring: Wacoal asks you to measure in a non-padded bra, keep the underbust tape level and secure, measure the bust at its fullest point without compressing, and not to round your size down.
  • Its calculator: Based on the script behind Wacoal’s online calculator, it adds inches to smaller underbust measurements and counts the cup from the band size, so it can suggest a larger band and a smaller cup letter than our calculator for the same measurements.
  • Fit checks: Wacoal publishes a five-point fit check covering band, cups, centre, straps and overall fit.
